The challenge unfolds among the rock faces and scree slopes of the Brenta.
Athletes start from the shores of Lake Molveno, climb to the 2,442-meter Grosté Pass, and cross the entire central range, reaching the summit at Bocca di Brenta before the final descent.
The competition features three technical routes: the 64K with 4,200 meters of elevation gain, the 45K with 2,850 meters, and the 21K with 1,250 meters.
